The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the results for Class 10 for the year 2025. Out of 2,38,50,796 registered students, 23,71,939 participated in the exams, with 22,21,636 successfully passing, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 93.66%. This marks a slight increase of 0.06% compared to last year's pass percentage of 87.98%.

In Class 10, girls achieved a pass rate of 95%, outperforming boys who recorded a pass rate of 92.63%, resulting in a difference of 2.37%. Transgender students also achieved a commendable pass percentage of 95%.
According to the results, 1,41,353 students have been placed in the compartment category, showing a slight improvement from 5.91% in 2024. Dates for the supplementary exams will be announced in due course.
Thiruvananthapuram and Vijayawada achieved an impressive pass percentage of 99.79%, followed by Bengaluru at 98.90% and Chennai at 98.71%. A detailed list of regional pass percentages is available.

CBSE will store digital mark sheets and certificates on DigiLocker. Students can log in using their mobile numbers linked to their Aadhaar and download their Class 10 or Class 12 digital documents.

The UMANG app, designed for new-age governance, also provides access to CBSE results and mark sheets. Students can download the app and log in to view their results.
CBSE offers an SMS-based result checking service. Students can receive their results on their phones by sending an SMS to a designated number as per the format announced on the result day.

Enter your roll number, registration number, or date of birth as required.
Click on 'Submit' or 'View Results'.
Your result will be displayed on the screen.
Download and save a printout for future reference.
Students are also advised to verify their mark sheets with their schools once the official printed copies are available.
