McDonald’s Singapore has announced that it will give away 50 McSpicy burgers every day from May 19-23, on a first-come, first-served basis.
The fast-food chain is also opening its first museum, located next to McDonald’s at Bugis Junction, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily until May 25. The museum features interactive zones that guide visitors through the history of the McSpicy burger, Channel News Asia reported.
Admission to the museum is free, as announced by McDonald’s on Facebook on May 12.
The McSpicy, one of the chain’s signature items, was introduced in 1999. Featuring a thick chicken thigh patty on sesame seed buns, the burger is known for its spicy flavor.
Many netizens shared their excitement about the promotion on social media.
“Wow, my favorite McSpicy!” one user commented.
“McSpicy, I’m your biggest fan!” another wrote.
Last year, hundreds of Singaporeans lined up as early as 3:30 a.m. for hamburgers from the popular American chain In-N-Out at its pop-up event.
