After the Pahalgam Attack, India gave a befitting reply to Pakistan's nefarious acts, like a cyber attack. Now, recently, Maharashtra Cyber has identified 7 advanced persistent threat groups that have carried out more than 15 lakh cyber attacks on Indian websites. Even after the conflict between India and Pakistan that lasted for several days and then a ceasefire, a conspiracy is being hatched against the Indian government from across the border. Cyber attacks have been carried out on many websites of the Indian government by Pakistan. Attacks are being carried out not only from Pakistan but also from Bangladesh and the West Asian regions.
A senior official of the Maharashtra Cyber Department, while talking to the media, rejected the claims in which it was said that data was stolen from the Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The cyber attackers claim that not only the airport but also the data of telecom companies has been stolen, some of which is visible on the darknet. Apart from this, the website of the Defense Nursing College located in Jalandhar was also damaged.
Pakistan got a befitting reply.
The investigation revealed that after the ceasefire, attacks on Indian government sites reduced, but have not stopped completely. Cyber attacks are still going on from Pakistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Morocco, and West Asian countries. 15 lakh attacks took place but the strong security of government sites gave a befitting reply to Pakistan due to which the cyber attacks failed. According to the report, only 150 cyber attacks out of 15 lakh have been successful.
These are the 7 hacking groups.
In a report named 'Road of Sindoor', the state's nodal cyber agency has given information about the cyber war waged by Pakistan. Hackers carried out attacks like malware, distributed denial-of-service attacks and spying through GPS and have also tried to harm Indian sites.
The report has revealed the names of seven Pakistani hacking groups like Pakistan Cyber Force, APT 36, Mysterious Bangladesh, National Cyber Crew, Team Insane PK, Cyber Group Hoax 1337 and Indo Hacks Sec. Before 'Road of Sindoor', Maharashtra Cyber's Echoes of Pahalgam report had also come in which the terrorist attack in Pahalgam was reported.
