For the past few days, Jose Mourinho has been linked with Manchester United and there is a growing feeling that there is a possibility that United might be thinking of a change in the managerial position with Ruben Amorim signed just 6-7 months ago. Since Amorim joined, Manchester United’s position declined in the Premier League and they are now at the 16th place.

A surprising name has once again been linked with Manchester United, none other than The Special One himself, Jose Mourinho. While nothing has been confirmed, growing speculation suggests that Sir Jim Ratcliffe could be contemplating a managerial shake-up at Old Trafford, despite Ruben Amorim having taken charge just 6-7 months ago.

United’s recent form in the Premier League has only added fuel to the fire. Since Amorim’s arrival, the Red Devils have slumped dramatically in the league standings, currently sitting a shocking 16th. This unexpected decline has reportedly left the club’s hierarchy concerned about the direction the team is heading.

Several unconfirmed reports claim that Ratcliffe, who is now heavily involved in football operations, is not entirely convinced by Amorim’s impact. According to these rumours, he is beginning to believe that a complete rebuild is needed — and sees Mourinho as someone who could bring both structure and a winning mentality back to Old Trafford. However, this is just a rumour and nothing about these reports has been confirmed yet.
