Recently, some users contributed to trending “Boycott Sitaare Zameen Par” on social media, claiming that Aamir Khan didn’t respond to Operation Sindoor as he issued a statement just before the trailer launch.

Users said that Aamir did this because he had to promote the trailer for the movie and he didn’t want any negative publicity around it.

While users are hating on Sitaare Zameen Par, the reality is far from different. Aamir Khan and his production house have commented on Operation Sindoor multiple times, lauding the Indian armed forces.

Aamir Khan commented on India-Pakistan tension and said that the perpetrators should be punished.

Apart from Aamir, his production house had also issued multiple statements regarding the attacks.

On April 23, Aamir Khan Productions commented, “We are deeply shocked and saddened by the recent terror attack in Pahalgam that has claimed innocent lives and brought pain and sorrow to so many. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families.”

Aamir Khan has not issued any statement regarding the ongoing trolling, but this is a clear case of hate mongering and false information.

Sitaare Zameen Par is an upcoming sports drama and the Hindi remake of Campeones.

The film stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in the lead roles.
