Preity Zinta Talks About Her Experience With The Movie

In one of her recent interactions on X, a fan approached Zinta explaining how the movie always gets them emotional. Zinta responded to this remark explaining how she, too, finds the movie traumatizing.

“Yes, I cry when I see it and I cried when we were shooting it. My first love passed away in a car accident anime. So this will always hurt me. The death scene of Aman caused many tears to be shed by the people behind the cameras as well.”

Zinta claimed that the actors were unable to control their tears due to the powerful emotions that the scenes possessed. This included major stars such as Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan.

Aman’s Character Portrayed by Shah Rukh Khan Continues to Have an Impact

Aman Mathur played by Shah Rukh Khan might just be the most heartbreaking character in Hindi films. The heartbreak only escalates as the film nears conclusion, where emotion-saturated scenes are classically intense.

According to Mukesh Chhabra’s interview with Nikkhil Advani, the Indian director revealed there are no plans for a sequel. After a theatrical re-release last year, the film received renewed interest, however, Advani states there are no plans for a second film.

Kal Ho Naa Ho was released in 2003 and is remembered as a cult classic, and in Mwkesh’s interview he expressed his love for the film. His affection was so deep that he suggested creating another installment, but clearly Advani shot that idea down and stated we have no reason to explore further into this storyline.

Originally produced by Karan Johar, the film featured Saif Ali Khan as Rohit Patel. The chemistry between these actors and their remarkable performances crafted Bollywood history with this timeless Bollywood film.
