Tensions between India and Pakistan have risen after the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, which left 26 people dead. In the middle of the outrage and ongoing debate, Shaadi.com founder and Shark Tank India judge Anupam Mittal shared a strong message on LinkedIn where he urged people to stay focused on India’s growth and resilience.
“Every few years, the clown across the street sets himself on fire – just to prove he’s still in the circus,” he wrote. In his post, he drew a sharp comparison between the two countries stating how far India has come in the last few decades while taking a dig at Pakistan’s current state.
“In 1947, two nations were born from the same soil. Today, one is launching satellites. The other is launching jihad,” he continued, further urging people not to get distracted by such provocations. “Noise is not power!” he said.
Anupam praised India’s growth and confidence especially in how the country responded to the recent attack with Operation Sindoor. “India just demonstrated that she is not an aggressor but will neutralize when provoked & escalate if required. This is the maturity of a nation on the brink of greatness,” he said.
Anupam’s message wasn’t just about defence and foreign policy. He used the moment to shift the focus back to building the future. “Let’s not waste time on war-mongering. Let’s build the Indian Dream – where merit & hard-work decides our future,” he stated.
The entrepreneur concluded his post with, “The Armed Forces just reminded the world that India is sovereign, self-reliant, and decisive. Now it’s our turn. Let’s get back to work. Jai Hind.”
Not just Anupam but many television celebrities have also reacted to the government’s strong response to the attack. Stars like Hina Khan, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Avinash Mishra and Aly Goni have voiced their support for the armed forces. They have condemned Pakistan’s continued support for terror groups that have been targeting India for decades.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation following the India-Pakistan ceasefire. In his first statement after Operation Sindoor, he made it clear that the operation has only been put on hold for now. What happens next will depend on Pakistan’s actions.
The Prime Minister further stressed that India is watching Pakistan closely. He firmly stated that “terror and talk cannot go together” and added that “terror and trade cannot go together” either. He also said, “water and blood cannot flow together.” With this, he sent a clear message about the country’s stand on cross-border terrorism.
