The diary of a cricketer’s wife: The batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has been known as the Indian team for a long time. He has not yet been given the opportunity to return to the team. Cheteshwar Pujara has been playing domestic cricket only for the past few years. During this time, Pujara’s wife Pooja Pujara has written a book. The book, written by Puja, is called ‘The Diary of Cricketers Wife’. In this she describes the experience of Pujara’s career and the exclusion of him from Team India. It also wrote in detail about his first visit, love marriage, bad stage of Cheteshwar’s career and the interior of the Indian cricket team.
Cheteshwar Pujara’s wife Pooja Pujara had interviewed Dainik Bhaskar about her book ‘The Diary of a Cricketer Wife’. In this interview, she shared an emotional moment, when Cheteshwar Pujara was kept out of Team India for the first time in Australia.
Pooja continued, that moment was very annoying and painful for me. Since Cheteshwar made his debut for India, many players came and went to the team, but Cheteshwar was never excluded. The priest is called the “wall of the test” by the Indian team because of his patience and technique. But one day, the whole thing changed.
Pooja Pujara further said, ‘We were in Sydney then. When I learned that Cheteshwar would not be in the playing XI today, I was very frustrated and sad. I was so bad that I didn’t want to go to the stadium at the time. Pooja says that watching Sydney Cricket Stadium is a dream of every cricketer, but it did not matter that day. My eyes had only tears, but Cheteshwar was very common. He was calm, as if nothing happened.
Pooja further said that Cheteshwar Pujara is not only a disciplined player but he is also a very private and professional person. He never allowed the cricket dressing rooms to come home. What do I often start in the dressing room? Who is talking about? Ask this, but Cheteshwar never told me anything. He clearly said, “These things should be on the field, not at home.”
