Many users are facing financial and mental distress due to the rapidly increasing number of frauds in the digital world. Recognizing this need, Bharti Airtel has introduced a sophisticated, AI-powered solution to fight against spam and online fraud. Through this new system, websites that will be identified on over-the-top (OTT) platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, Email, Browser and SMS will be identified and customers will be blocked immediately to ensure that customers go to those sites.
The service will be available to all Airtel’s mobile and broadband customers and will be automatically enabled without the need for any app. In particular, there will be no extra charges for this. As soon as the customer tries to go to the cheating website, access to the website will be stopped and instead of an explanation screen will appear, from which the cause of blocking will be explained.
In recent times, online fraud types have increased significantly. There are many criminals using OTP scams, fake calls, linking links and stealing information. Because of this, many ordinary citizens are losing their hard work. In this case, Airtel has introduced a multi -level security solution. These include analysis of links to the device, domain filtering, and a database of deceites globally.
Airtel Managing Director Gopal Wittal said, “In the last few years, many consumers have been victims of fraud. They have suffered financial losses. This is the backdrop of our engineers developed the latest fraud technology. Our purpose is to help consumers to safely browse the Internet.” This system has proved high levels of accuracy during the test, and Airtel is now ready to bring this security armor for more and more users. This is hopeful that the Internet usage of India is more secure.
