A source told Fimfare, “Diljit was very excited to collaborate with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. But over the last few weeks, he couldn't align with the film's creative ideas. That's why he's decided to leave the project because of creative differences."

HT reached out to director Anees Bazmee about the confirmation when he said, “I will not be able to speak about the matter right now. It is better if you reach out to Boney for the same.”

Reports suggest that No Entry 2 is set to star Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor in the lead, with buzz also surrounding Tamannaah Bhatia's potential involvement. While her casting hasn't been officially confirmed, her role is said to be inspired by the character played by Bipasha Basu in the 2005 original. The sequel was initially planned for a late 2025 release, but with these developments still in flux, the timeline may be subject to change.

The film has now become a cult classic.

The story of No Entry followed two married men, played by Anil and Fardeen, whose lives spiral into chaos thanks to their flirtatious and mischievous friend Prem, portrayed by Salman.

Prem’s attempt to introduce them to a call girl sets off a series of hilarious misunderstandings and wild situations. The film also featured Lara Dutta, Esha Deol, and Celina Jaitly in leading female roles, with Bipasha Basu making a memorable extended cameo.
