Suspense crime, Digital Desk : As their divorce plays out publicly, Ravi Mohan, the Tamil actor, has made a strong statement defending himself from intense accusations from his estranged wife, Aarti. As he defended Ponniyin Selvan, the actor claimed that he has been mentally, physically and financially abused which he denies.

Ravi Accuses Aarti of Misusing Public Sympathy

Ravi has publicly called her out for manipulating their children and public sympathy . “It has been traumatizing to witness my private life being turned into gossip, devoid of any humanity,” wrote Ravi. “My silence was not a sign of weakness; it was a strategy.”

Portraying himself as a survivor of abuse, Ravi described the long enduring emotional, mental, physical and financial torture he suffered. Furthermore, he claimed that throughout the marriage, he was cut off from his own parents.

“Heartbreaking yet necessary,” is how Ravi chose to describe his decision to detach himself from the trauma. He did state that he tried many ways to save the marriage before arriving at this difficult decision.

Custody and Children at the Heart of the Dispute

Ravi attempted to counter Aarti’s narrative about his absenteeism by saying he has not seen his children, besides one court-ordered visit over Christmas. He accused Aarti of providing him with access and now using bouncers to block contact.

“Use as weapons and tools in fissured narratives with financial interests, towards sympathy, and a sympathy raiser are some ways I palletize this,” he shared.

A Call for Dignity, Justice, and Healing

Ravi, in his closing statement, remains hopeful that there will be a just legal response. “This isn’t a game for me. This is my life, my truth, and my healing,” he articulated. He expressed belief on the legal system having the right procedure to take on his concern on protecting his dignity.

It is after Aarti publicly refused the title of “ex-wife” that Ravi makes this statement. In response, Ravi claims, “The ‘ex’ got struck into my heart the moment I left home.” Things have only gotten worse after Kenishaa, who is a singer, or therapist, was spotted with Ravi at his wedding, adding fuel to the fire about a possible new romance.
