New Delhi . Indian Defense Company Solar Defense and Aerospace Limited (SDAL) has designed and developed a new low -cost counter drone system ‘Bhargavastra’ (Bhargavastra) in Hard Kill Mode, which is a big jump in facing the growing dangers of drones flocks as drone can find out the drone flocks and the drone can find out the distance of six kilometers or more. Can The micro rockets used in this counter-drain system have now been successfully tested at the SeRard Firing Range in Gopalpur, in which all the prescribed objectives were achieved.
On May 13, three tests were conducted for a micro rocket in the presence of senior Army Air Defense officials in Gopalpur. Two testing were performed by firing one rocket each. A test was then fired two rockets in Salvo mode within 2 seconds. All four rockets performed as expected and achieved the necessary launch parameters, proving its important technology in reducing large -scale drone attacks.
What is Bhargavastra?
Bhargwastra is a micro-mesile-based defense system developed in India itself. It is mainly designed to neutralize drone attacks. This drone can identify the flocks together and neutralize it in a second. The specialty of this system is that it can identify drone flocks even at 6 kilometers or more distances.
What are the merits of Bhargwastra?
It is considered an integrated solution to combat unmanned air -vehicle dangers. ‘Bhargavastra’ is also equipped with advanced abilities to detect and eliminate small drones coming up to 2.5 km away. It is a multi-layer coundler drone system, in which the first layer of defense has been used as a guided micro rocket, capable of neutralizing a 20-meter-to-20-radio-radius flock and is for micro-mesile (already tested) Pin points, which ensure accurate and effectively interfered.
Designed for deployment in different areas
It is designed for deployment in areas of high altitude more than 5000 meters above sea level as well as different areas. This system can meet the needs of India’s armed forces as the way Pakistan has used Chinese and Turkish drones and missiles during operation vermilion, it has made it clear that the new technology of drones is going to fail in the coming time. Bhargwastra is going to prove to be a milestone in that direction.
How was the name Bhargwastra?
The name of Bhargwastra is derived from the weapon Bhargava weapon of Lord Parashurama, which was a powerful weapon. It is installed on a mobile platform so that it can be deployed in various areas soon. The Bhargwastra is designed to deal with the self-drone and has the ability to launch more than 64 micro-disciples simultaneously.
Full of the characteristic of advanced c4i technology
Equipped with a sophisticated command-and-control center, featureing the Bhargavas advanced C4i (command, control, communication, computer and intelligence) technology, the system radar can detect aerial threats of 6 to 10 km away in a minute and can neutralize it in seconds. Its electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensor suit further ensures accurate identity of low radar cross-section (LRCS) targets. The ‘Bhargavastra’ provides a comprehensive status awareness observation, enables operators to evaluate and combat individual drones or entire herds.
