Press conference purpose

Livasa Hospital in Amritsar organized an important press conference on metabolic dysfunction- Stiotic Liver Disease (MASLD). The main objective of this program was to raise awareness of the disease, encourage timely identity and highlight the need for multi-subject approach in its treatment.

Presence of experts

Several prominent experts of gastroenterology were present on the occasion, including Dr. Kanwaljit Singh, Principal Director and Senior Advisor, Gastrointestinal Surgery, Livasa Hospital and Dr. Ishaan Mittal, DM Gastroenterologist.

Dr. Singh and Dr. Mittal shared detailed information on MASLD’s complications, symptoms, causes and lifestyle - factors. He said that this disease is spreading rapidly in India and its timely identification and treatment can prevent serious complications.

Importance of awareness in society

Dr. Pawan Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Livasa Hospitals said that MASLD is a serious health challenge, especially in urban areas, where the number of metabolic disorders is increasing. He said that the purpose of Livasa Hospitals is not only treatment, but also to raise awareness and encourage preliminary investigation.
