On his official ‘X’ profile, CM Yogi posted a criticism of Ram Gopal Yadav, saying that the Army’s uniform should not be seen through a “casteist” perspective. According to him, every Indian Army member serves their country and is not a representation of any “caste” or “religion.”

“A casteist perspective is not applied to the army’s clothing. In his ‘X’ tweet, Chief Minister Yogi said that all Indian army soldiers serve their country and are not representatives of any caste or religion.

CM Yogi further emphasized that Ram Gopal Yadav’s comments are a “narrow-mindedness” of the Samajwadi Party and a “grave insult” to the nation’s identity and army’s valor.

“The national general secretary of the Samajwadi Party’s decision to place a courageous daughter under the caste system is a serious insult to the nation’s identity and the bravery of the army, in addition to demonstrating the narrow-mindedness of his party. The statement went on to say, “This is the same mindset that dares to split even patriotism in the name of appeasement and vote-bank politics.”

Ram Gopal Yadav, however, justified his caste-related comments on Wing Commander Vyomika Singh by citing several instances of atrocities committed against backward castes, Dalits, and minorities in northern Indian states, particularly Uttar Pradesh.

Yadav made fun of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who called his comments “casteist,” saying that the CM, who is responsible for the atrocities, responded to his speech without even hearing it. Additionally, he made fun of the media outlets, claiming that only the governing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had faith in them.

“I am shocked that the Chief Minister, who is seeing unspeakable horrors against Dalits, minorities, and the lower classes, tweeted without even hearing my whole remarks. Since only the governing party has faith in the media outlets that have taken over Islamabad and Rawalpindi, I have no grievances against them,” Yadav wrote on X.

The SP MP said that he was referring to those with a “corrupt mentality” and that, had they known the caste location of Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Air Marshal AK Bharti, those who “abused” Colonel Sofiya Qureshi because of her faith would have done the same to them.

False charges are being brought against persons in several North Indian states, especially Uttar Pradesh, on the grounds of caste, religion, and class. Caste and religion are being used as grounds for encounters. Declaring them gangsters on the basis of caste, religion, and class results in the seizure of their property. Caste, religion, and class are the reasons why women are subjected to torture.

Employees and officials are posted based on their caste, religion, and class, according to Yadav.
“I had made statements about people with such corrupt mentality in a program yesterday, stating that Colonel Sofia was abused because she was identified by her religion, Foreign Secretary Mistry was abused, and if these abusers had come to know that Vyomika Singh is Jatav and Air Marshal Bharti is Yadav, then they would not have refrained from abusing these officers also,” he continued.
