In the new highly dramatic episode of Anupamaa , the plot thickens as Mahi and Aryan go against all logic, family bonds, and emotional entreaties to get secretly married — leaving Anupama shell-shocked, the Shah family stunned, and the Kotharis oblivious to the tempest brewing for them.

The episode starts with Anupama playing the role of reason, urging Mahi and Aryan to change their hasty decision. Pointing out that marriage is not only a personal relationship but also a coming together of two families, Anupama appeals to the sensibilities of the young couple. Her worry is not just about their immaturity but also about the rift such a decision might create between the Shahs and the Kotharis.

Powerless and devastated, Anupama is left helplessly watching as Mahi ruthlessly tells her to be quiet and watch her marry her off without trying to intervene.

As this goes on, Rahi and Prem zealously organize a Mother's Day party for Anupama, even going so far as to suggest a double date with Mahi and Aryan. But when their attempts at contacting Aryan are met with silence, wonder creeps in. Rahi, being very perceptive, worries that Mahi might be psychologically manipulating Aryan — similar to an earlier error with Prem.

Soon, Mahi and Aryan finish their wedding ceremonies, in spite of every warning and emotional plea. Anupama, stunned and shattered, is unable to come to terms with the drastic decision they've made. The emotional shock deepens as Mahi comes up to her after the wedding, flauntingly seeking blessings and even taking a selfie with Anupama as evidence of her presence. The scene is chilling, manipulative, and extremely unsettling.

At the same time, on the other hand, Ishani hears a voice message from Raja, who is filled with regret and wishes for a future connection. She quietly accepts his message, showing an emotional upset yet to be discovered. At the same time, Kinjal requests Raghav to go through a presentation, where he becomes aware of Anupama's unexplained disappearance and is concerned about it. Kinjal, being thankful, thanks him for always being by her side.
