But if you live in Uttar Pradesh. Then you will be given subsidy by the Uttar Pradesh government. Let us tell you that the Uttar Pradesh government is giving a subsidy of up to Rs 5 crore for opening a dairy. This subsidy will be given by the government for setting up dairy units, animal feed production units, dairy plant modernization and supporting equipment.

So much subsidy on these things

The Uttar Pradesh government will give subsidy of different amounts on opening different units related to the dairy business. If someone opens a dairy/dairy unit. Then he will be given 35% of the cost, up to a maximum of Rs 5 crore. 35% of the cost for animal feed and nutrition manufacturing unit, maximum Rs 5 crore. 35% of the cost for modernization of dairy plant, which is maximum Rs 2.5 crore. Up to 35% of the cost for traceability and quality control machinery, which is maximum Rs 1 crore.

35% of the cost for installing cold chain systems including vans, tankers, freezers, maximum Rs 1 crore. 35% of the cost for expanding the animal feed unit, maximum Rs 2 crore. On the other hand, up to 50% of the cost for purchasing machinery for small businesses, which is maximum Rs 50 lakh will be given.
