Punjabi style kadhi pakora recipe: Whenever the name of Punjabi food comes, the first thing that comes to the mind is Kadhi Pakora. When this curry made of citrus curd and gram flour is prepared with hot pakoras, then what to say! Whether it is paratha or rice, it tastes wonderful with everything.

Material (Punjabi style kadhi pakora recipe)

  • Curd – 3 cups
  • Besan – 2 cups
  • Red chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fenugreek seeds – 1 tsp
  • Curry Leaf – 8 to 10 leaves
  • Asafoetida-1-2 pinch
  • Oil – to fry and add tempering
  • salt to taste

Rudgery (Punjabi style kadhi pakora recipe)

  • Sieve gram flour in a vessel and make a solution by adding some water. Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
  • Now beat the curd well in another vessel. Add ready gram flour solution and prepare a thin solution by adding some water. Add salt and if you want, you can also filter with a sieve once.
  • Now heat oil in a pan and make separate gram flour solution and fry small pakoras from it. When the pakoras turn golden brown, take out and keep it in a plate.
  • Heat some oil in another pan. Add asafetida, fenugreek seeds, curry leaves and fry it lightly. Now add curd-basin solution and cook on high flame till one boils.
  • As soon as it comes to a boil, reduce the heat and let the curry cook for 10 minutes. Then add fried pakoras to it and cook on 5-10 minutes and low flame.
