Karimnagar: On May 15, the Saraswati River Pushkarams got underway, marking an important cultural and spiritual turning point. The festival, which is held in Kaleshwaram’s Triveni Sangam Kshetra, has drawn devotees from all across the nation. Given that it is the first time since Telangana’s creation, the festival has great meaning for devotees, but it also presents a chance for historical and spiritual tourism, particularly if one makes arrangements. Triveni Sangam is a holy place of great religious significance where the Saraswati, Pranahita, and Godavari rivers meet. When visiting the Pushkarams, devotees have the opportunity to explore the neighboring areas, which are rich in culture, history, and scenic beauty.

Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Brahma are connected to the Sangam location, which is regarded as a Trilinga Kshetra and Tri Deiva Kshetra.

A beautiful environment may be seen in the river basins close to the Sangam, including the charming Maharashtra hamlet of Sironcha. The region’s tribal languages and cultures contribute to its allure.

This section is referred to as the “northern channel” since the Godavari River flows northward rather than eastward. This geographic characteristic adds to the area’s uniqueness.

However, the Jagannath Swamy temple in Puri, Odisha, is well-known around the globe. Glassford, a British collector at the time, constructed this rest house, which is today overseen by Maharashtra PWD (PWD).

In addition, Sironcha is home to the historic Vadidem Fossil Park and Vithaleshwara Temple. Here, millions of years’ worth of tree fossils and the remains of herbivorous dinosaurs like the sauropod have been found.

The park was created by the Forest Department as a component of the Kaleshwaram project.

Ambatpalli, the site of the Medigadda barrage’s construction, is also home to the oldest Amareswara temple. This temple’s Panavatta, which was revered throughout the Kakatiya era, possesses a unique quality.

Additionally, worshipers consider the Annapurna Devi statue housed in this temple to be a gem. Even now, people still worship this extremely old temple. The Mahadevapura mandal center is also 2.5 miles from Sri Mandaragiri Venkateswara Swamy Temple.

The fact that the deity of Venkateswara Swamy housed in this temple is self-contained is another unique aspect.
