A 70-year-old man from Karnataka’s Kalaburagi (Gulbarga) district has made the incredible trek to Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand on foot, covering hundreds of kilometers. It took him over two months to complete the expedition. In a now-viral video posted on X (previously Twitter), the elderly devotee said that he and a group of other pilgrims began their spiritual padyatra from Kalaburagi on March 3 and arrived at the Kedarnath Shrine on May 1.
The gang walked an amazing 2,200 miles over the course of two months, including plains, woods, and mountains. The party is seen cheering as they reach the temple, which is one of Uttarakhand’s most famed Char Dham destinations.
A video of the septuagenarian and his companions at Kedarnath has already gone viral, garnering recognition for their perseverance and commitment. According to the pilgrim in the film, such a voyage is possible if one is blessed by God. The senior pilgrim also discusses the spiritual strength that allowed him to do this.
Since it was posted on X on May 15, the video has received over 2 lakh views. The video touched many viewers, who praised the pilgrims’ perseverance, commitment, and physical fortitude. Social media users have commended the septuagenarian and his pals’ journey, citing their devotion as an inspiration.
