A major milestone in Türkiye’s healthcare transformation will be marked today with the inauguration of the Istanbul Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital in Bahcelievler. The state-of-the-art facility, which is expected to be opened by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is poised to become a flagship center for rehabilitation services across Europe.
With a closed area of 102,000 square meters, 705 beds, and 88 outpatient clinics, the new hospital stands as the largest physical therapy facility in Europe. Designed to deliver patient-centered rehabilitation services, it offers personalized treatment plans for individuals suffering from mobility loss, post-stroke conditions, or orthopedic impairments.
