The latest season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on Hulu and Disney Plus has been a roller-coaster ride for fans as they track Jen and Zac Affleck's tumultuous marriage.

After the drama surrounding the Chippendales incident with Zac, it was disclosed that he had moved out from Jen's place, but as the new episodes unfold, he is trying to win her back. Through trials and tribulations, Jen warily lets Zac back into her world, yet their relationship remains fraught with difficulty.

A poignant moment occurs in episode three when 25 year old Jen takes a pregnancy test after revealing to Zac that she's over a week late. Before confronting the reality of a positive test, an emotional Jen confesses, "I should be happy looking at this, but I'm not. I'm really scared."

Opening up in an interview, she confides to the viewers about her spiralling depression and anxiety due to the instability in her life.

The thought of pregnancy sends her stress levels soaring given her shaky standing with Zac, prompting her to voice her fears: "So I am stressed out of my mind with the thought of me being pregnant, because Zac and I aren't on the best of terms.

"I think the last thing we need is another baby."

As the camera captures their intimate moment, Zac comforts a tearful Jen who fears bringing another child into uncertain circumstances.

In heart-wrenching vulnerability, she laments, "I'm just scared because I'm not the person I want to be before bringing in another child.

"I'm sad for this child because I don't even know where my marriage is at. So I think in this moment I have kind of come to my breaking point."

Despite the struggles aired, viewers can take solace as the couple has since confirmed they are still together post-filming.

On Mother's Day, Zac posted an adorable picture of the pair, showcasing Jen's visible baby bump, and gushed: "Happy Mother's Day, my love. Having three under three is no joke, and every day you amaze me with your strength, patience, and endless love.

"Thank you for being the incredible mother our babies are so lucky to have-you're the heart of our family."

Prior to the release of the second season, Jen was treated to a baby shower, and she expressed her gratitude on Instagram, saying, "We were showered with so much love from friends + family at our baby shower! So thankful to be blessed with such amazing people in my life. It was beyond perfect and the shower of my dreams!! Thank you is never enough."

Jen also affectionately thanked Zac for his unwavering support, saying, "Thank you for supporting me in everything I do. Love you."

In a delightful coincidence, Jen's sister is also expecting a child after years of trying with IVF. Jen shared her excitement with People, saying, "My sister also recently found out she's pregnant after many years of trying with IVF, so we couldn't be more excited to embark on this journey together."
