There are reports Milan can sense the eagerness of Manchester City and Real Madrid to sign Tijjani Reijnders, pumping the asking price up to €90m.
It had been suggested that Pep Guardiola’s Premier League side had put forward a proposal worth in the region of €60m for the midfielder.
That was always going to be rejected, as it was well below the absolute minimum figure of €70m for them to even sit down and consider the interest.
Reijnders has clubs fighting for his signature

Now TEAMtalk claim that the added focus from Real Madrid is making Milan increase the threshold even further, comfortable in the knowledge they can create a bidding war this summer.
Their asking price is now closer to €90m and could rise even further.
The 26-year-old was purchased from AZ Alkmaar in 2023 for €20.5m plus bonuses and it has been a breakthrough campaign for the Netherlands international.
Reijnders scored 15 goals with five assists in 52 competitive games for Milan this season, playing in a variety of midfield roles.
He only recently signed a new contract to stay with the Rossoneri until June 2030.
