Pakistani television star Neelam Muneer has severly criticized India’s ruling government Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), alleging that it tries to conceal its failures behind propaganda against Pakistan.
Neelam, renowned for her looks and successful acting career with some outstanding dramas such as Dil Mom Ka Diya, Qayamat, Jal Pari, Mahashar, and Ahram-e-Junoon, enjoys a huge fan base who follow her not only due to her acts but also her looks.
Currently married to Muhammad Rashid since last year’s end, the pair allegedly met up in Dubai and got married after keeping in contact for more than two years. The core wedding ceremonies also took place in Dubai. Neelam is taking a break from showbiz and living her life as a newlywed.
Although she has been away from the limelight, she was in the news recently after posting an Instagram story openly criticizing the BJP. “The ideology based on Hindutva is gutting India from the inside out,” she posted, asserting that the BJP constantly blames Pakistan to distract the people while secretly advancing its extremist agenda.
In her post, she said, “The BJP government is killing India with its Hindutva ideology. They keep accusing Pakistan to deflect the Indian public and to pursue their Nazi-led objectives.”
Neelam also mentioned Pakistan’s Youm-e-Tashakur (Thanksgiving Day) celebration as a historic victory of righteousness. “Youm-e-Tashakur is being celebrated across Pakistan, Alhamdulillah. This is a historic victory of righteousness,” she posted.
She ended by expressing gratitude to Pakistan’s military leadership, particularly Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir. “I, along with the whole nation, salute our gallant armed forces and the valiant people of Pakistan. ‘Bunyan Marsus’ will never be forgotten. I am proud of our Chief, General Syed Asim Munir,” she concluded.
