After the Pahalgam terror attack, a special operation is being conducted in Jammu and Kashmir to search for terrorist masters and their helpers. Security forces have achieved a big success in Shopian. Two terrorist helpers have been arrested. Weapons have been recovered from them.

Shopian Police, while giving information, said that two terrorist associates were arrested in a joint operation of 34RR SOG Shopian, CRPF 178 Battalion of the Indian Army in the DK Pora area of Shopian.

Two pistols, four grenades, 43 live rounds, and other objectionable material were also recovered from these two helpers. FIR has been registered. At present, further action is going on.

Raid on the houses of 18 terrorist helpers in Poonch
Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army on Sunday launched a large-scale operation to dismantle the terrorist network in Poonch district. Several police teams, with the help of the Army and SOG, raided the houses of 18 terrorist masters and terrorist helpers in the district. In this operation, electronic equipment as well as objectionable documents have been seized during the search of several houses.

According to the police, these local terrorist handlers are carrying out terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir while sitting in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Police, Special Operation Group (SOG) and Army, led by ASP Mohan Sharma, conducted a search operation in Sawjian Sector and Chambar Kinari area of Mandi Tehsil, adjacent to the Line of Control in the district. Taking action against local terrorists and helpers sitting across the Line of Control in the area, their houses and hideouts were searched.

However, there is no information about anyone being arrested during this operation. Senior police officials said that this action is part of the government's zero tolerance policy launched against terrorism and terrorists. However, the security agencies have not revealed the names of the terrorists and terrorist helpers whose houses have been searched.

According to sources, in the coming days, security agencies can take major action against the terrorists who are carrying out terrorist activities in Poonch district and Jammu and Kashmir from across the Line of Control.
