In a soulful celebration of tradition and talent, a cultural fest organised by Dr Akanksha Srivastava , lit up the stage of Sangeet Natak Akademi , Lucknow.

The event was a symphony of rhythm and expression as over 60 disciples of Dr Srivastava presented stunning performances in Kathak and classical music . The event opened with ‘antah’, a spiritual invocation rooted in Sant Kabir’s doha, Mat Kar Moh Tu Hari Jan Ko Maan Re. The poetic choreography was enriched by vocals from Prakhar Pandey and rhythms by Pandit Vikas Mishra.

From the emotive portrayal of love and longing in Abhisar to the playful innocence of Krishna Leela performed by young artists, each act unfolded like a page from a timeless epic. Later, the performance of Nritya Naman revisited the pure traditional elements of Kathak. A solo tabla performance by Manan Mishra in Rupak Taal and a stirring classical vocal presentation by Atharv added depth to the night’s sonic landscape. Roopali Joshi from Bangalore captivated the audience with a melodious rendering of Madhurashtakam, painting the divine image of Krishna with her voice.
The evening culminated in a grand finale, Sargam, featuring all 70 artists, leaving the audience spellbound.
