SRH vs LSG Playing 11
Lucknow Super Giants take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Monday in a clash that could decide the fate of the hosts.

The Rishabh Pant-led LSG are on the brink, with a defeat meaning a knock out. The team has been inconsistent throughout the season. The form of the skipper himself has been a massive concern as he has scored at an average of 12 and a strike rate of under 100. Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran started the campaign on a high, but had a tough time after the halfway stage. Aiden Markram and Ayush Badoni are the only two consistent batters in the team.

On the bowling front, they have depended heavily on the uncapped spinner Digvesh Rathi and Avesh Khan. The rest have been expensive and ineffective. To make things worse, pacer Mayank Yadav has been ruled out, with New Zealand’s Will O’Rourke replacing him.

SRH, on the other hand, have nothing to lose as they have already been knocked out of the tournament. Their batting, which was feared at the start of the tournament, has been letting them down consistently. None of the big guns that they placed their bets on have fired on a regular basis. Opener Travis Head has also been ruled out of the match due to Covid-19. Wiaan Mulder too isn't available.

Their bowling has also struggled with everyone being expensive. Their best bowler has been Harshal Patel, who has been amongst the wickets. However, even he has leaked runs on a few occasions.
