Zoey Stark’s Money in the Bank ambition has been dashed by an unlucky accident. On the most recent edition of RAW, the WWE superstar injured her knee while trying to use her trademark springboard dropkick on Kairi Sane. Stark fell on her leg at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in South Carolina after competing against Sane and Rhea Ripley in a triple-threat women’s MITB qualifying bout. A vicious-looking injury resulted from her knee being unnaturally twisted in the incorrect direction.

After a violent clash with Sane, Stark fell to the ring, clutching her right knee. The official phoned for emergency help right away because she seemed to be in a lot of agony. Stark attempted to leave the arena after the ring physicians examined her. She was eventually taken offstage, however, since she was unable to stand again.

It seemed unlikely that Stark had re-injured her knee, according to Michael Cole. In 2021, the 31-year-old had surgery to repair a torn meniscus, ACL, and MCL. Her current diagnosis has not yet been officially announced by WWE.

AEW Superstar Thunder Rosa sent a touching message on social media wishing Stark a swift recovery after she was forced to leave the MITB qualifying bout. Rosa emphasized that every time a wrestler enters the ring, they run the chance of being hurt.

“The sport of wrestling is both beautiful and dangerous.” Every time we enter the ring, we give it our all, and when we pursue our passions, we also take significant risks. “I hope you get better soon, sister, Zoey Stark,” Rosa said on X (previously Twitter).
For the first time since January, Stark made a cameo in RAW. She is still the last member of Pure Fusion Collective after Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville left. Stark mostly appeared on home shows and the Main Event prior to her comeback to the lineup. She was selected in the 2023 WWE Draft after her prior injuries at NXT.

Rhea Ripley won the women’s qualification after Stark fled the stadium. She eventually earned a place in the Money in the Bank ladder match, which is set for June 7, by using the Riptide to pin Kairi Sane.
