AC has now become common in homes, offices, shops and even in schools and colleges. But in this scorching heat, where the temperature can go above 40 degrees, it is very important to take care of the correct use of AC.

If used incorrectly, AC can not only get damaged but can also cause major accidents. Cases of AC bursting have become common, and the main reason for this is mostly misuse.

1. If the filter is not cleaned, it can cause damage: It is very important to clean the AC filter from time to time. Due to a dirty filter, the cooling of the AC reduces and the AC has to work harder. Due to this overheating, the compressor can even burst. Therefore, clean the AC filter once every two weeks.

2. Set the cooling system correctly: You need to understand that the more you try to cool the AC, the harder it will work and the electricity bill will also increase. The correct temperature of the AC should be 24-26 degrees Celsius. This will put less pressure on the AC and its life will also be longer. Always do not run the AC at a temperature below 24 degrees.

3. Do not forget to get the AC serviced: In this summer, the AC runs day and night, so special attention should be paid to its servicing. With timely servicing, the technical faults inside the AC can be identified and fixed, which helps in avoiding accidents. With regular servicing, the AC always works better and the risk of fire also reduces.

4. Take care of ventilation in the room: Along with AC, proper ventilation in the room is also very important. However, if you open the entire window, the cold air will not stagnate in the room, but closing the windows completely is also not right. Leave some ventilation in the room so that there is not much pressure on the AC and the coolness can spread quickly in the room. It would be good to run a fan as well, this will put less pressure on the AC.

5. Protect the AC from direct sunlight: If your AC is exposed to direct sunlight, it affects its cooling system. Due to sunlight, the AC takes more time to cool down, and overheating can also occur. Therefore, try to keep the AC away from sunlight or keep it under a shade or curtain, so that it can work properly.

6. Take care of electrical wiring: During the installation of AC, check the electrical wiring properly. If there is any problem in the wiring or it is old, then there may be a risk of short circuit, which can cause fire in the AC. Before setting up the AC, get its entire wiring checked.
