In light of the land allotted for educational institutions, XLRI Education Institutions made the decision to open a campus in Amaravati, the state capital, shortly.
On Tuesday, AP CRDA assistant commissioner G. Surya Sai Praveen Chand and Social Development Director Dr. P. Krishna Mohan met with representatives from XLRI Education Institutions, Fr. Dr. K. KS Casimir, Prof. Sanchayan Nath, Pritha Dutt, and Aparna Rao, at the CRDA office.
The Amaravati campus of XLRI Education Institutions will be upgraded as a university, and 1,500 students will be admitted. The campus will be developed in accordance with the necessary specifications.
APCRDA extra commissioner G. Surya Sai Praveen Chand said that the APCRDA would soon begin development work in Amaravati and that the city would become one of the nation’s top state capitals.
