A fire broke out in Delhi Kotla Sewa Nagar market, in which six shops were burnt to ashes

New Delhi: Six stores were damaged after a fire broke out in Delhi’s Kotla Seva Nagar market early on Wednesday, according to authorities.

“We received a call around 4 AM,” Delhi Fire Services Fire Officer Manoj Kumar told the media report. All six stores were on fire when we arrived at the location. These included stores that sold clothing, makeup, and tarpaulins. There have been no reported casualties in the event. We started working to contain the fire right away.

“Eight fire engines were deployed, and the fire is now under control,” he said. According to authorities, the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

In a different fire incident, late on Tuesday morning, a private school in Delhi’s Nirman Vihar Colony, which is within the jurisdiction of the Preet Vihar Police Station, caught fire. Officials said the fire burned one automobile parked close to the school.

Fire Officer Firoz Khan told the media that no injuries had been recorded and that five fire tenders were on the scene to put out the fire.

We got a call at 8:55 p.m. We put out the fire when five firemen arrived on the scene. The school, a building next to it, and an automobile nearby were all on fire. So far, there have been no reports of deaths or injuries,” Khan said.
