In a now deleted tweet Ram Gopal Varma talked about the teaser and posted a picture of Kiara in a bikini from the clip and wrote "Instead of our countries and societies, if the war between Hrithik and Jr NTR is on who gets her b*k, then 2 will be a b**buster" The tweet has since been deleted but has left netizens and fans all over the internet shocked and divided. One social media user took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "What the actual f***", while another user tweeted, "And this is what he is uttering publicly Can you imagine what he is like in private?" On platforms like Reddit, this statement has become a topic of debate. One reddit user wrote, "He lost it many many years ago, this is no surprise for anyone".
