Alan Musk’s company Starlink has launched its satellite internet service in another neighboring country Bangladesh. Earlier, Starlink started this service in Bhutan. Now in far-flung areas of Bangladesh, there will be a low latency and high-speed internet facility, where it is difficult to reach traditional mobile networks or broadband.
Alan Musk gave information about this launch from his official X (Twitter) handle. He informed that Starlink is now active all over Bangladesh, due to which internet access has become easier in rural and inaccessible areas.
Starlink service will be launched in India soon
Starlink is preparing to start its service in India for the last 3 years. Recently, the company has received a letter of intent (LOI) for satellite internet service from the Government of India. As soon as network allocation will be done by the Department of Telecommunications (DOT), Starlink can also be introduced in India.

Starlink’s residential plan starts from 6,000 BDT (about ₹ 4,200) per month in Bangladesh.
One-time setup cost:
For Standard Kit: 47,000 BDT (~ ₹ 33,000)
