We have brought you one such delicious and nutritious idli recipe. This idli rava (semolina) is idli. You can serve this idli in a very short time and serve your family members for breakfast. Children will also like this dish. Its specialty is that it is prepared by applying tempering in its batter. So let’s know the recipe for making Rava Idli.
Material for making rava idli

- Semolina or semolina – 1 cup
- Curd-half cup
- Water – Half a cup
- Mustard – Half a teaspoon
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Cumin – half a teaspoon
- Curry Leaf-3-4
- Green chili – 1 finely chopped
- Gram dal – 1 tbsp
- Asafoetida – a pinch
- Ginger- one teaspoon finely chopped
- Carrots – 2 tablespoons finely chopped
- Turmeric Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Red chili powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt – as per taste
- Eno Fruit Salt- 1 teaspoon
Rava idli recipe

- First put Ravo or Ravo in a bowl
- Add curd and water to it and mix well.
- Cover it for 5 minutes so that the swollen water absorbs and swells.
- Now place a pan on the gas stove. Add 1 tbsp oil to it.
- Now add mustard, cumin, curry leaves, chopped chili, ginger, carrots, gram dal and fry for half a minute.
- Then add asafetida, turmeric and chili powder and fry for a few seconds.
- This Tadka is ready to put in the Rava idli batter. Pour it to the batter and mix well.
- Now add ino fruit salt and salt as per taste and mix it well.
- You can use microwave idli mold or steel idli mold to make rava idli.
- If you do not have these two then you can also use a small bowl.
- Apply oil well before adding idli batter. In steel mold, this idli will be cooked in 15 minutes and ready,
- But if you are making it in the oven, then it will take only 2 minutes.
- Pour the batter into a microwave idli mold and cook in the oven.
- You can enjoy it as hot breakfast with tomato sauce, green chutney or coconut chutney.
- Add Machi oil to it and spread it well. ,
- When it becomes hot, add one teaspoon of chili pudding and spread it well in a pan.
- Flight and cook from both sides. When it turns golden brown, take off the heat and serve hot with tomato sauce, mint or coriander sauce.
