[India] Mumbai (Maharashtra) Following a crucial victory against the Delhi Capitals (DC), Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Naman Dhir voiced optimism in his team’s prospects of winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
“Yes, the team is very happy,” Dhir said at the news conference held after the game.
“I suppose you should anticipate that we will make it to the playoffs if MI is participating. He was certain that MI will win its sixth IPL championship, thus we are looking forward to the following four games in order to win and win this competition.
By hitting an undefeated 24 off only 8 deliveries at the end, including two fours and two sixes, Dhir helped MI win by 59 runs. This helped Mumbai to a respectable 180/5 in their 20 overs.
Mumbai is presently in the running for the playoffs with only one league match remaining against Punjab Kings (PBKS). They would have a significant advantage and be able to participate in Qualifier 1 if they placed in the top two. They would advance directly to the final if they won that match.

Jasprit Bumrah (3/12 in 3.2 overs) and Mitchell Santner (3/11 in 4 overs) each claimed three wickets for the Hardik Pandya-led team, while Trent Boult (1/29 in 3 overs), Deepak Chahar (1/22 in 3 overs), Will Jacks (1/16 in 1 over), and Karn Sharma (1/31 in 3 overs) each claimed one wicket during their respective spells.
