China and Malaysia can change the future of the alternative fuel sector. The new fuel that the two countries are trying to make has not been much explored. The alternative fuel market has major investments with different results. However its unclear to know whether its just a new idea or something constructive will come out of it. According to media reports a new fuel can end hydrogen EVs and gasoline?  The alternative fuel  was first discussed when Toyota released the Prius in 2000. This new hybrid power they first tested in the Japanese market and then released it to the American market. The innovation was done by Elon Musk’s Tesla which came with the EV ball. Their Model S was made with new technology of the time and the first truly EV attempt. The EV became so popular that Elon Musk became the richest person in the world. At the same time he faced competition from China’s BYD. It overtook Tesla in certain markets of the world. Though EVs became so popular other countries started exploring alternative fuel sources like hydrogen. Though Hyundai started finding the potential of hydrogen in different forms and like fuel cell stack technology or the newer hydrogen-powered internal combustion engines. So many other countries also started investing and finding the new fuel. China and Malaysia ‘new fuel’ The ‘new fuel’  investment was also for green fuel which may not emit carbon and create pollution. Sarawak Petchem Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian company that produces methanol. Methanol is a green fuel that produces zero emissions. The Malaysian company started exporting green methanol to China. China needs energy for its economy to boom further which is stuck at one level now. Even other big economies including the European Union are also exploring new fuel opportunities. If media reports are to be believed the new green fuel methanol will be used for the large shipping industry first. The green methanol produced by Malaysia can move the world to meet the carbon-neutral goals.
