Reports are doing the rounds on the internet that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga who has delivered back-to-back hits had an argument with actress Deepika Padukone. The two were all set to begin filming for the big-budget film Spirit which also stars Prabhas in the lead role. This is a pan-world release and was supposed to be Deepikas first film after the birth of her daughter Dua. However the news coming in now is truly shocking. According to recent reports Deepika is no longer part of the film. Several Telugu outlets including Gulte and GreatAndhra.com have reported that Sandeep Reddy Vanga has allegedly ousted Deepika due to her demands. Insiders have described Deepikas behaviour as unprofessional. According to reports Deepika had put forward several conditions for doing the film which led to significant conflict between her and the director. For instance she requested an 8-hour workday which effectively allowed only 6 hours of actual shoot time. She also demanded a massive fee of Rs 20 crore the highest she has ever asked for and even requested a share in the films profits. Additionally reports suggest that she refused to deliver her lines in Telugu. Things didn’t go as planned between Deepika and Vanga and the two eventually decided to part ways. The team is now looking for her replacement. However neither Deepika nor Vanga has issued any official statement regarding her exit from Spirit.
