Mumbai defeats Delhi by 59 runs to go to the playoffs, as Suryakumar and Santner excel

The Mumbai Indians easily advanced to the playoffs because to the performances of Santner (3/11) and Suryakumar Yadav (73 not out off 43 balls, including 7 fours and 4 sixes). On Wednesday, Mumbai won a pivotal encounter against the Delhi Capitals by 59 runs.

Delhi is eliminated from the knockout stage after losing this crucial game. If Delhi wins their last game, they will only be able to attain 15 points. Mumbai, which has won the championship five times, has advanced to the playoffs for the eleventh time. Punjab, Bangalore, and Gujarat have already guaranteed their spots in the playoffs.

In 20 overs, Mumbai scored 180/5. Rickelton (25), Naman Dhir (24 not out), and Tilak Verma (27), all made significant contributions. Mukesh claimed two wickets. In 18.2 overs, Delhi was knocked out for 121. The highest scores were Vipraj (20) and Sameer Rizvi (39). Bumrah claimed three wickets. Du Plessis captained Delhi because captain Axar was unable to play because of sickness. ‘Player of the Match’ was the title given to Suryakumar.
