icon Jo Joyner stars in brand new drama , which is already being compared to 's Big Little Lies thanks to its similar themes of motherhood, friendship and small town secrets.
Joyner stars as Dr Liz Burgess in the drama, while actress Diane Kruger leads the cast as Jess Carrisford.
The other two mothers, Charlotte Hinman and Mel Quinn, are played by Bridgerton's Shelley Conn and War & Peace actress Emily Taaffe.
Little Disasters is also based on a novel from Sarah Vaughan, the author of Sunday Times bestseller Anatomy of a Scandal.
Fans are already excited to see Joyner in her new role - but what is the series about, where have you seen her before and what is the actress' life like away from our screens?
Little Disasters is a six-episode show tackling tough issues like parenting challenges, marriage, postnatal anxiety and maternal OCD follows four very different women, who have nothing much in common except for their due dates.
The official description from Paramount Plus reads: "When Jess takes her baby to hospital with an unexplained head injury, her close friend and on-duty A&E doctor Liz must make the excruciating decision of whether to call social services, setting off an explosive chain of events for their friendship group."
Jo Joyner is best known for playing Tanya Branning in the BBC soap opera EastEnders on and off between 2006 and 2018.
Ackley Bridge fans will also recognise her as Mandy Carter from the Channel 4 school drama, where she held a main role from 2017 to 2021.
More recently, she has appeared as Beth in 2024's The Wives, Alison in 2022's Riptide and Erin in 2021's Stay Close.
Joyner met husband Neil Madden when she was just 25 years old, with the pair tying the knot after five years of dating in 2007.
Madden, who is reportedly now a drama teacher, is an actor who has appeared in shows like The Bill, Lewis, Holby City and Silent Witness.
The pair share fraternal twins Freddie and Edie, who were born in 2009, and live near Stratford-upon-Avon.
Joyner previously opened up on her IVF journey to the Mirror back in 2022, expressing that she felt "incredibly lucky" to have welcomed twins.
"We tried everything - acupuncture, fertility diets, reflexology - but nothing worked. We had tests and knew there was a slim chance anything [natural] would work and that was when we made the decision to try IVF.
"The twins were very longed for - we were incredibly lucky because we had them with our first round of IVF," she said at the time.
