Kakatiya Art: Kavya is on display at the upgraded Warangal RLY station

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened 103 Amrit stations, including Warangal, around the Indian Railways network. In an effort to satisfy the growing needs of train customers, the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) began upgrading Warangal station on February 24. Several MLAs and MPs attended the event at the train station, including MP Kavya, Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Telangana Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash, Union Minister of State Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, and MLC Baswaraju Saraiah.

“The railway station has been developed to prominently showcase the historical art and architecture of the Kakatiya dynasty,” MP Kadiyam Kavya said in his remarks on the occasion. “It will not only provide modern amenities for the thousands of daily commuters, but it will also offer a pleasant and culturally rich atmosphere.”

Speaking at the event, MP Kavya said that the Warangal community is proud of the railway station’s growth and its contemporary amenities. According to her, the station has been furnished with a broad concourse, attractive sculptures, a foot overbridge, escalators, and other amenities.

Just 40% of the Kazipet Railway Station’s construction has been completed so far as part of the Amrit Bharat Railway Station development project. She called for the remaining work to be completed quickly and made accessible to the public.

Additionally, MP Kavya urged the development of Kazipet into a multimodal railway station. She also emphasized the need of finishing the building of the Kazipet Bus Stand and the Fatima ROB.
