📌 What is the Rahveer Scheme?
The Madhya Pradesh government has implemented the Rahveer Scheme to encourage people to help road accident victims. If you take an injured person to a hospital within the "Golden Hour" (the critical first hour after the accident), you will receive a reward of ₹25,000 and a certificate of appreciation from the government.
Promote good Samaritans to assist road accident victims without fear.
Reduce deaths by ensuring timely medical help.
Encourage immediate action during road accidents.
If you help an accident victim and take them to a hospital:
The hospital will notify the police.
The police will inform the District Collector.
You will receive a copy of the report confirming your help.
Based on this report:
The Transport Department will deposit ₹25,000 into your bank account.
You will also receive a certificate of recognition.
You can receive this reward up to 5 times.
If more than one person helps, the amount is divided equally.
If you want to remain anonymous, you will not receive the reward but can still help.
Police will not harass or question those helping accident victims.
You should ideally call the 108 ambulance service as well.
