From now on, senior citizens in Haryana will not get a 50% discount on Haryana Roadways bus tickets just by showing their senior citizen ID. Instead, they must carry an NCMC card.

The Senior Citizen ID cards are now obsolete for fare discounts.
Only the NCMC Card will be accepted for availing the 50% concession.
A smart card used like a debit card.
Can be used for travel in Haryana Roadways buses.
Offers 50% discount for senior citizens (60+ men).
Can be used for contactless payments up to ₹2000.
You can apply online through bank portals like AU Small Finance Bank:

Click “Get Your Card Now”.
Select “Apply for NCMC Card”.
Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar or VID number.
Enter the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
Confirm your Aadhaar details.
Proceed to payment and delivery section.
Recharge your card (minimum ₹200) if needed.
No fee for making the card.
₹150 delivery charge applies.
Minimum recharge: ₹200
Recharge in multiples of ₹100.
Pay using UPI, debit card, net banking, etc.
Existing Happy Cards can be upgraded to NCMC Cards for senior citizens.
