Authorities have reported the discovery of a 26-year-old man, identified as Lalu, also known as Ajay Yadav, who had been missing for four days. His body was found in Sehore, a district adjacent to Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, on Friday. According to police, Lalu left his residence in Purani Sabri Nagar on the evening of May 19 around 8 PM without notifying his family.
A missing person report was filed at the Kamla Nagar police station on May 21. Assistant Commissioner of Police Chandrashekhar Pandey from TT Nagar confirmed that the body, believed to belong to the missing man, was located within the jurisdiction of the Bilkisganj police station in Sehore.
ACP Pandey stated, "A missing complaint was lodged regarding Lalu alias Ajay Yadav, and the Kamla Nagar police promptly initiated a search. We have now received information about a body found under the Bilkisganj police station's jurisdiction, which is presumed to be that of the missing individual. Further actions will follow once we obtain case details from the Bilkisganj police station." In response to the news, Lalu's family gathered at the Kamla Nagar police station, demanding accountability for the incident.
Regarding the family's protest, ACP Pandey remarked, "The family is understandably distressed over the loss of their child, and it is natural for them to express their emotions. However, the police are committed to conducting a thorough investigation to apprehend those responsible." He added that the investigation is ongoing.
