Clarkson's Farm fans say same thing about Harriet Cowan just minutes in

might be a fan-favourite from 's series, but there is a new farmer in town hoping to win over viewers.

Series four of dropped on the streaming service on Friday (May 23) and featured . In the newly released season, which follows the ups and downs at Diddly Squat Farm, the former Top Gear presenter is left struggling after Cooper, 26, leaves to go on tour.

With Cooper absent from the farm, Clarkson finds it difficult running things alone, especially when his tractor stops working. Needing an extra pair of hands, the 65-year-old brings in a freelance contractor to stand in for Cooper - 24-year-old Cowan, a nurse and social media star from Derbyshire.

Minutes after her arrival at Diddly Squat, Cowan confesses that she's never watched Clarkson's Farm. It's not long before she gets stuck in, cutting the hedges and tending to the farm animals.

The young farmer's witty banter comes out in full force when she films alongside Clarkson, who is impressed with her farming expertise.

During the first episode, Clarkson is giving Cowan a tour of the farm when they come across a Neolithic fort, which the TV star reveals is "4000 years old". In response, Cowan swipes: "Nearly as old as you."

The TikToker has clearly made an impression on viewers as they flocked to social media to share their true thoughts on the new addition. One declared: "A 'Star' is born Harriet Cowen!"

"S4 and I already love Harriet," agreed a second as another shared: "30 minutes in and I'm calling it already Harriet is going to be massively famous and she could be worth bringing back."

Another declared: "And I'm already rooting for Harriet," adding: "She's brilliant."

Clarkson becomes more impressed with Cowan as the episode continues, praising her extensive farming knowledge and branding her a "star".

Speaking to his contractor Charlie Ireland, he says: "She's brilliant. She's a TikTokker. She's already been TikTokking at Diddly Squat! I don't really understand."

Cooper is only absent for a few episodes of the eight-part series, later returning from his one man tour. Despite rumours circulating that Cooper could be departing the series, on .

"I'm still involved, yeah. There's lots of rumours going out that I've been replaced but I'm still here," he told hosts and .

He expressed gratitude for Cowan's intervention in his absence, adding: "And of course Harriet stepped in as I jumped away on tour, so I'm very grateful that Harriet came along and saved the day."
