Today we will talk about an actor who was recently awarded the Padma Bhushan – the third-highest civilian award in India. Not just that this 64-year-old has always made sure that his fans love every bit of what he creates.
While reading the information many may think that the actor in discussion is Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan. But let us tell you we are talking about none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna (NBK).
NBK made his debut as a child artist at the age of 14 with the film Tatamma Kala (1974). In his career tenure the actor has worked in more than 100 films. Some of the hit movies he did were Sahasame Jeevitham (1984) Janani Janmabhoomi (1984) Mangammagari Manavadu (1984) and Apoorva Sahodarulu (1986).
Recently Nandamuri gained headlines when a report surfaced online claiming that the actor was allegedly offered a whopping Rs 22 crore for his 10-minute role in Rajinikanths Jailer 2.
Nandamuri was last seen in Daaku Maharaaj which turned out to be a huge blockbuster. The movie minted over Rs 136 crore worldwide and is the third highest-grossing Telugu film of 2025.
While Nandamuri Balakrishna (NBK) has been a hit name in the South industry he recently gained massive criticism.
