The season is about to end and the club has already decided to make plans for the next season. Lindelof is not in the plans of Ruben Amorim, and thus, will be leaving. Also, there will be more players who will be leaving the side this summer and few incomings are also expected.

It’s the end of an era for Victor Lindelöf at Manchester United. After seven seasons at Old Trafford, the Swedish centre-back is set to depart the club in June, bringing his long-standing association with the Red Devils to a close.

As the current season nears its conclusion, the club has already begun shaping its plans for the future under the expected leadership of Ruben Amorim. Lindelöf, unfortunately, does not feature in the Portuguese manager’s vision and will be allowed to leave in the summer transfer window.

Since joining United from Benfica in 2017, Lindelöf has made over 250 appearances in all competitions, showing moments of reliability and professionalism. However, injuries and increased competition in recent seasons have seen him fall down the pecking order.

He is not the only name on the departure list, as a squad overhaul is expected at Old Trafford. Several other players are likely to leave, making way for fresh faces as United look to bounce back stronger next season.
