Fenerbahce Beko men’s basketball team celebrated their second Turkish Airlines Euroleague championship with a jubilant open-top bus parade in Istanbul on Tuesday.
Fans filled the streets to applaud the team’s achievement and show their support after the club secured a major continental title.

The final, held against French side AS Monaco, ended in a 81-70 victory for Fenerbahce Beko on Sunday. Despite falling behind early and conceding the first quarter 20-18, the Turkish club regrouped with a stronger defensive effort in the second quarter. By holding Monaco to just 13 points in that period, Fenerbahce turned the tide to close the first half ahead, 35-33.

The second half of the contest remained closely contested. Monaco managed to briefly regain the lead, but Fenerbahce reasserted control and entered the final quarter up by three points at 54-51. In the closing stretch, Fenerbahce held firm defensively, limiting Monaco’s scoring opportunities and ultimately closing the game with an 11-point margin.
This victory marks Fenerbahce Beko’s 2nd Euroleague championship.

The club made history in 2017 by becoming the first team from Türkiye to win the prestigious title.
