The Madhya Pradesh League releases team uniforms for the thrilling next season, which begins on June 12

Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior [India], According to an MPL press release, the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) on Tuesday presented the colorful jerseys of the ten teams that will play in the 2019 season, which starts on June 12 at the Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Shankarpur, Gwalior.

Gwalior, which hosted the MPL’s first season in 2024, will host the full competition for the second year in a row. The men’s and women’s teams’ new jersey designs were unveiled in a glamorous event this year.

Players, team representatives, and dignitaries from all around the state attended the occasion, creating a buzz of excitement and expectation.

Teams from the Bundelkhand and Chambal areas have joined the seven-team men’s league, which was formerly played by five teams under the auspices of the MP Cricket Association and organized by the Gwalior Division Cricket Association (GDCA).

In addition to the men’s matches, a Women’s Cricket League will be introduced this season. Three teams, including one from the capital city of Bhopal, will compete in the women’s division.

Chairman Mahanaaryaman Scindia discussed the Madhya Pradesh League and the clubs’ jerseys, saying, “The jersey unveiling sets the tone for an exciting season ahead.” The Madhya Pradesh League has become a showcase for both regional pride and cricket skill. Our dedication to diversity and development is shown by the addition of a women’s competition this year in addition to the league’s expansion.

“There is a lot of energy and anticipation around Madhya Pradesh League Season 2,” GDCA president Prashant Mehta said, echoing the excitement. We are sure that the league will provide spectators with exciting cricket and discover fresh talent for the state, and the teams’ shirts embody the essence of their respective areas.”

Men’s teams: Bundelkhand Bulls, Indore Pink Panthers, Jabalpur Royal Lions, Gwalior Cheetahs, Bhopal Leopards, and Rewa Jaguars.

Women’s teams: Bundelkhand Bulls, Bhopal Wolves, and Chambal Ghariyals.
