Alan Musk’s social media company X (East Twitter) is preparing to launch its first digital payment service X Money by the end of this year. Musk herself shared information through a post that initially this service will be available as beta trial for limited users. The project has been working for many years, and Musk has been planning to launch it since Twitter acquisition.
In the recent update, Musk said that the technical infrastructure of X Money has been prepared and its beta trial will be started soon. This beta phase will be the first major step towards spreading this much awaited service to all users.
The purpose of the musk is to develop it as an everything app, not just as a social media platform. In this app, users will get facilities like messaging, online shopping, banking and digital payment in one place. X Money is part of this vision, so that users will be able to send, receive and manage stalled money inside the app.
According to reports, cryptocurrency, especially bitcoins, will also be included in this service as an alternative to payment. Also, along with companies like Musk Visa, they are preparing a system of fast and convenient transactions.
