Health Desk. Inflammation in the uterus (uterus) is a serious but often ignored condition in the problems to the reproductive health of women. In medical language it is called endometritis or sometimes Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). This inflammation can occur due to infection, hormonal imbalance or other reasons, and it can cause infertility or serious complications when not identified in time.

1. Frequent abdominal pain

There is often a persistent or intermittent pain in the lower abdomen or pelvic area when there is swelling in the uterus. This pain can also be mild and intense, and it can be felt in addition to menstruation.

2. Irregular periods or excessive bleeding

If the menstrual cycle becomes abnormal, too much or too little bleeding, or the pain during bleeding becomes unbearable, then it can be a sign of inflammation.

3. Smelly or unusual veginal discharge

Yellow, green or brown discharge, which has odor, may be a clear indication of uterine infection. This is the way of the body to warn of infection.

4. Fatigue, fever and weakness

Due to severe inflammation, there is a mild fever, persistent fatigue and lack of energy in the body. This occurs when the infection also starts spreading to other parts of the body.

5. Burning or pain during spasm

Frequent urination or feeling irritation in urine can also be signs of inflammation in the uterus. In such a situation, it is necessary to contact the gynecologist.
