This special tourist train launched under the 'Bharat Gaurav' series offers a royal experience. The 'Garvi Gujarat train runs from Delhi and takes you to the major religious and cultural places of Gujarat.

The journey to Somnath Temple can be started from Safdarjung Railway Station in New Delhi. The nearest railway station for Somnath Darshan is Veraval Railway Station. The train covers Gujarat in eight days and seven nights. It covers Ahmedabad, the Statue of Unity at Kevadia, Vadodara, Somnath, Dwarka, Porbandar and Gir.

The train will run six days a week except Thursday.

If you want to travel from Banaras to Somnath, then you can take a train from Banaras to Ahmedabad, like Banaras-Veraval Weekly Superfast Express gives the option of direct rail travel.
